Crashy Inc. ("Crashy," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or when we recover, store, and process a vehicle, and how that information is used.

Information we collect

We may collect: your name and contact details; vehicle information (make, model, year, VIN, license plate, and condition); insurance information (carrier, claim number, and adjuster contact); the location and circumstances of a tow; and the consent agreement captured at the time of service.

How we use it

Information is used solely to perform towing and storage services, generate and deliver invoices, maintain accurate records of vehicles in our custody, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to complete a job — for example, with your insurance carrier or adjuster for billing, or with law enforcement and regulatory authorities where required by law. We may use trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting) who are bound to protect the information they handle on our behalf.

Text messaging (SMS)

When you provide your mobile number and consent at the time of service, Crashy may send you text messages about your vehicle — including a link to your itemized invoice, your balance, and pickup details — and you may reply with questions for customer support. Message frequency varies based on the status of your vehicle and your replies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

Mobile information is never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. We share information only to perform the service, as described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention & security

Vehicle, invoice, and consent records are retained as long as needed for our business and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold.
