Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of services provided by Crashy Inc. ("Crashy," "we," "us," or "our"), a licensed vehicle towing and storage company operating in Charlotte, North Carolina, including our website, invoices, and text-message program.
Services
Crashy provides vehicle towing, recovery, and storage. Vehicles in our custody are released to the owner or an authorized party upon payment of the outstanding balance and presentation of a valid photo ID. Storage charges accrue as stated on your invoice until the vehicle is picked up.
Payments
Balances may be paid in person or through the payment link on your invoice. All amounts are itemized on your invoice. Disputed charges can be raised with our team by phone, text, or email and will be reviewed promptly.
Text messaging program (SMS terms)
- Program description: When you opt in at the time of service, Crashy sends text messages about your vehicle — check-in confirmation, a link to your itemized invoice, your balance, and pickup details — and answers questions you text back (customer care).
- Opt-in: Consent is collected on our written check-in form via a separate, optional checkbox. Consent is not required to tow, store, or release your vehicle, or to receive any service. The form is published at crashy.co/tow-form.html.
- Message frequency varies based on the status of your vehicle and your replies.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the phone or email below.
- Privacy: Mobile information is never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. See our Privacy Policy.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Liability
Crashy exercises reasonable care with every vehicle in our custody. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by North Carolina law. Personal property left in vehicles should be retrieved promptly; retrieval is available during pickup hours with valid ID.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always published at this page.
